MATTERS ARISING Susan
Milnes updated the group on the changes to the group. Welcomed
Sally to the group. Sally
requested that both herself and Mary both attend the meetings, Susan
agreed. Louise
Shaw is only with us until the end of the academic year. Carol
Farmer – she has left Braithwaite and was thanked for her contribution
and wished every success in her new role. |

FEEDBACK FROM SEN STEERING GROUP Susan updated the
group on the last SEN Steering Group meeting.
The group was informed that the above minutes are available on the
website up to October 2004. |

PUBLICATION OF NOTICES/TIMELINE Notices
had been issued, and the HR data was being finalised with Legal. |

ASSIMILATION – VIEWS ON PROCESS There was a
discussion at the OJC Meeting regarding assimilation but nothing was
agreed. The
group had an in-depth discussion regarding the structure of the temporary
governing body. Staff were
concerned that the comprehensive knowledge, expertise and experience of
special schools governors would be retained on the TGB’s. |

REMODELLING The
new JD/PS’s will be issued to schools w/c 07 February 2005. |
