MINUTES OF LAST MEETING

Minutes of last meeting were agreed.  Issue to Liz Wilson for website.

HR SUB GROUP REMIT

Ø      Asked Sub Groups to check remits – confirm both remits/membership.  The group had a discussion regarding membership.  Keith Fair suggested representation from each school, split better into roles

Ø      Encourage membership from all schools – key note when remit agreed.

Further discussions regarding arrangements for backfill.

HEADTEACHER RECRUITMENT

Interviewing for Heaton Royds today.  Re-advertise for Haycliffe Grange as soon as possible.  Dominic Wall to provide Headteacher support at Haycliffe Grange during interim time.

STAFFING STRUCTURES

Move to TLR’s – so assimilation will be between TLR’s.  Agreed by Headteachers and raised with Teachers OJC last week..

STARTERS AND LEAVERS REPORTS

Report to next meeting.

SKILLS AUDIT

Developing form with Hilary.  Discussion with other Headteachers, will be tick boxes, will be emailed out to staff.  JD’s to include skills key areas per job for matching in process.  Will link into visits by Darren.  Skills will help with Training Sub Group.

FINANCE AND RESOURCES SUB GROUP

Darren Whitelaw co-opted into group – identifies 22 areas of work, some will come back to sub group.  Minutes to be circulated.

Ø      Staff protections – pay

Ø      Removal expenses – Caretakers

Ø      Excess travel

Check procedures are in place.  Darren Whitelaw to provide current arrangements/agreements.

SEN IMPLEMENTATION GROUP

Mark Carriline identified funding for Health Sector in new schools, 30K to deliver new projects.  1 Headteachers designate will attend each meeting.  Staff may have access to Counselling?
