Not
all the sub-groups had met, consequently they were asked to ensure that
all groups discussed this matter to present views at 23 July meeting to
enable a decision. Mark
Carriline stated that in addition to the advantages to primary sector
there would need to be no detrimental effect on secondary and all age
schools in order for a variable implementation date to go ahead. |

Staff
had consulted their colleagues in schools to find out their opinions.
Equity for both staff and pupils was a major consideration, also
the impact of a potential double move for some pupils.
Overall the majority of all staff were strongly opposed to a
variable implementation date. |
